Component support extended for Kenya Airways

Spairliners continues Integrated Component Care services for 15 Embraer E-Jets

Hamburg – Spairliners GmbH and Kenya Airways have extended its existing Integrated Component Care contract covering full component support for 15 E-Jet aircraft of the leading African airline. With this further long-term prolongation effective by April 2018, the contracted services have been enhanced by an on-site customer representative based in Nairobi and a Line Maintenance Training for Kenya Airways’ aircraft mechanics.

Kenya Airways’ E-Jet fleet will be supplied from Spairliners’ component pool and logistic centers located in Paris and Munich. Additionally, an optimized on-site stock will be provided at Kenya Airways premises for their proprietary use.

“With this contract extension our cooperation with Spairliners will be further strengthened. The innovative approach of Spairliners enables Kenya Airways to optimize its cost position and further increase its aircraft availability. Spairliners proved to be a reliable and high-quality provider and we are pleased with the contract prolongation”, says Ron Lussier, Head of Material Management at Kenya Airways.

“We are delighted that Kenya Airways selected Spairliners again as their preferred E-Jet Component supplier, after we have been building an excellent business partnership for years. This contract prolongation shows the competitiveness of Spairliners via its customized and cost-efficient service offering”, says Cornelius Dalm, Head of Sales, Account Management and Marketing. Benoit Crombois, Managing Director and CFO at Spairliners adds “With this continued cooperation Kenya Airways can rely not only on Spairliners expertise, but also on the support and in-depth knowledge of our parent companies network of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and Lufthansa Technik”.
